These reports are a way of taking the pulse of our local communities, focussing on 13 different ‘themes’ that matter to people around the county. Compiling available statistics along with our community surveys, the reports are presented in an easy to read format, keeping the jargon to a minimum, to help people across the county to see what is going on in the areas in which they live.

We have compared results to the country as a whole, to the West Midlands region and between the boroughs and districts of Staffordshire, including Stoke on Trent.

We don’t want to tell you what to think – We want to present the information to you and let you draw your own conclusions. Over the next 12 months we’ll be holding lots of community consultation events to get your feedback and your opinion on the things that matter to you.

Vital Signs will be updated annually with your input – we want you to be the driving force in this report, whilst we bring all the ‘official’ statistics to the table.

To learn more about this initiative and to view or download the Vital Issues and the Vital Signs reports please visit the dedicated page on our website, here.
