The Community Foundation is proud to have achieved Silver accreditation from Investors in People.
Since 1991 Investors in People has set the standard for better people management. The internationally recognised accreditation is held by 14,000 organisations across the world. The Standard defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results.
Based on 25 years of leading practice, the Investors in People Standard is underpinned by a rigorous assessment methodology and a framework which reflects the very latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry.
The Investors in People framework provides 27 scales for comparison. Using a mixture of online and in person assessments, organisations are assessed to determine clear benchmarks for performance. It helps to provide an understanding of how our people practices compare, and highlights opportunities on which to focus to ensure we harness the talent of our people, to maximise our abilities to achieve our goals.
In the words of Investors in People;
‘Successful accreditation against the Investors in People standard is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to sustainability’
