The J & O Lloyd Community Fund has a bursaries scheme, which is available to students in East Staffordshire who are going on to study at Cambridge University or a renowned college of the arts.
About bursaries from the J & O Lloyd Fund
In order to qualify for a bursary from the J & O Lloyd Fund you should be resident in East Staffordshire and studying at a college or sixth form in East Staffordshire. You should also have received a firm offer of place at a selected educational establishment, and accepted the place. You will be expected to show evidence of this before your application will be considered.
These grants are to be considered a one off bursary.

We will support people who meet the following criteria;
- Resident in the borough of East Staffordshire
Studying at one of the following schools or sixth form centres
- Abbot Beyne School
- Blessed Robert Sutton Catholic Sports College
- Burton & South Derbyshire College
- de Ferrers 6th Form
- JCB Academy
- Thomas Alleyne’s High School
You must have been offered a place at one of the following establishments
- University of Cambridge
- Birmingham Conservatoire
- Bristol Old Vic
- Guildhall School of Music and Drama
- London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art
- Manchester Conservatoire
- Royal Academy of Dramatic Art
- Royal Academy of Music
- Royal Ballet School
Closing Dates & Submission Deadlines
The following dates are submission dates and panel dates for 2019.
- Applications submitted before 2nd April 2019 will go to the panel on 16th April 2019
- Applications submitted after 2nd April 2019, but before 1st October 2019 will go to the panel on 15th October 2019
- Applications submitted after 1st October 2019 will go to the panel in April 2020
