We Love Lichfield is an endowment fund, and provides funding to community and voluntary organisations across the whole Lichfield district, including in Burntwood and the surrounding villages. From 2017 Lichfield District Council will devolve their local community grants to the We Love Lichfield fund, and so there will be 2 rounds of funding every year, one in May and one in November. From 2018 the We Love Burntwood fund will make awards through We Love Lichfield, although the Burntwood funding will be ringfenced to be used exclusively in Burntwood.
About Grants from We Love Lichfield
Grants from We Love Lichfield can be used for either capital or revenue projects, and can last for up to a year. It would be unusual for the fund to make an award to the same organisation for the same project two years running, unless you can demonstrate that their have been significant developments or increased demand for your project.
Any organisation who receives a grant will be invited along to a presentation event. No funding will be issued until the presentation event. Details of the event will be sent to all successful applicants at the time of award notification.
