The Kingsley Community Fund was established in late 2017, following the disposal of the local youth and community centre.  The remit would be broadly in line with the work undertaken at and by the youth and community centre.  Can award grants up-to £1K.

The Kingsley Community Fund was established in late 2017, following the disposal of the local youth and community centre.  As the centre had originally been built following efforts and subscriptions of local people, it was decided to establish a grants fund that could once again support local people.  The remit would be broadly in line with the work undertaken at and by the youth and community centre.

Who Can Apply

  • Registered charities
  • Local community groups
  • Volunteer led groups
  • Organisations based in, and working in, the parish of Kingsley, (with a preference for those based in the villages of Kingsley and Kingsley Holt)
  • Organisations working to provide a service or facility for the local community
  • Preference will be given to those organisations working with local young people

Further Information

  • The maximum grant that can be applied for is £1000
  • At their discretion, the donor advisors may consider applications for more than £1000, but you must first call The Community Foundation to discuss your project.  Applications made without prior contact will not be considered.
  • The grant must make a ‘significant’ contribution to the overall project, (that being at least 33% of the cost)

  • You can make your application at any time.
  • Applications will be considered twice per year, usually in May and November.
  • The closing date to submit applications for consideration at the May round is 30th April.
